The 19th century masterpiece Dr. Thaddeus Vita was painted by the historicist painter Wilhelm A. Vita in the year 1883. The more than 130 year old original was made with the size: 69 x 55 cm - frame: 84 x 71,5 x 5,5 cm and was produced on the medium oil on canvas. "Signed right side: Wilh. Vita / 1883; top right: WVita 1883; on the back label: Thaddeus Vita doctor" is the painting's inscription. This piece of art forms part of the digital collection of Belvedere. Vita was a court painter, painter, whose artistic style can primarily be classified as Historicism. The European artist was born in 1846 in Zauchtel / Suchdol nad Odrou, Czech Republic and died at the age of 73 in the year 1919.
