Artwork description from The Metropolitan Museum of Art (© - The Metropolitan Museum of Art - The Metropolitan Museum of Art)

This still life is not mentioned in Van Gogh’s letters and has puzzled scholars as to its place in his artistic production. The subject enjoys a certain rapport with the mixed bouquets of summer flowers he made in Paris; the quasi-abstract floral wallpaper design in the Berceuse of Arles (1996.435), and the white porcelain vase in the Irises of Saint-Rémy (58.187). However, the palette and style of this painting, especially its distinctive blues and ochers and graphic, brick-shape hatchings, link it firmly with the landscapes made just prior to his death in Auvers on July 29, 1890.

It makes a particular effect of three-dimensionality. A canvas of your favorite work of art will allow you to transform your into a large size artpiece as you would see in a real gallery. How do I hang a canvas print on the wall? A canvas print has the advantage of being low in weight, which implies that it is easy to hang up your Canvas print without the help of additional wall-mounts. Because of thatcanvas prints are suited for all types of walls.
  • Acrylic glass print (with real glass coating): A glossy print on acrylic glass, often referred to as a print on plexiglass, will turn your favorite original into wonderful home décor. The work of art will be made with state-of-the-art UV print technology. It creates rich and deep color shades. The major benefit of a plexiglass fine art print is that contrasts and granular painting details become visible with the help of the precise gradation of the print.

A direct Direct Print on Aluminum Dibond is the best introduction to fine art reproductions on aluminum. For the Aluminium Dibond option, we print your selected artwork right onto the surface of the aluminum material. The bright and white parts of the original artwork shine with a silk gloss but without glow. The colors of the print are luminous in the highest definition, details are crisp. This UV print on Aluminum Dibond is the most popular entry-level product and is a sophisticated way to showcase fine art prints, as it draws attention on the whole artwork.
  • The poster print (canvas material): The poster print is a UV printed canvas with a fine surface texture, which reminds the actual masterpiece. It is perfectly suited for framing your art replica with the help of a personal frame. Please bear in mind, that depending on the absolute size of the canvas poster print we add a white margin of something between 2-6cm round about the artwork, which facilitates the framing.
