This over 180 years old piece of art was created by the romanticist master Thomas Fearnley. The 180 year old artwork was made with the size: 28 × 37 cm (11 × 14,5 in). Oil on paper mounted on canvas was used by the artist as the technique for the work of art. The original artpiece has the following inscription: inscribed lower right: Fearnley. Furthermore, the work of art is included in the Art Institute Chicago's digital art collection, which is one of the world’s great art museums, housing a collection that spans centuries and the globe. Moreover, alignment is landscape and has an aspect ratio of 1.2 : 1, which implies that the length is 20% longer than the width. The painter Thomas Fearnley was an artist, whose style was mainly Romanticism. The artist was born in the year 1802 in Halden, Ostfold, Norway and died at the age of 40 in 1842.
