In the year 1802 the male American painter John Trumbull made this painting Self-Portrait. The beyond 210 year old original was made with the size: 29 3/4 x 24 9/16 in (75,5 x 62,4 cm) framed: 37 5/8 x 32 9/16 in (95,6 x 82,7 cm). Oil on canvas was used by the artist as the medium of the artpiece. It is in the the art collection of Yale University Art Gallery, which belongs to Yale University and is the oldest art museum of a university in the western hemisphere. John Trumbull was a artist, painter, whose art style can be classified as Romanticism. The North American artist was born in 1756 in Lebanon, New London county, Connecticut, United States and deceased at the age of 87 in 1843.
