Hubert Robert had set himself this grove in the gardens of Versailles.

This over 210 years old piece of art was painted by the artist Hubert Robert in 1803. The original of the painting had the size: Height: 99 cm, Width: 130 cm. Date and signature - On the front of the canvas, right, on a rock: "ROBERT H. / 1803." is the artwork's original inscription. This work of art is included in the Musée Carnavalet Paris's art collection, which is a museum dedicated to the history of the city Paris. The curator, painter Hubert Robert was a European artist, whose art style was primarily Rococo. The Rococo painter was born in the year 1733 in Paris, Ile-de-France, France and passed away at the age of 75 in 1808.
