About the artwork by the old master with the name Lucas Cranach the Elder

This piece of art was created by the male German painter Lucas Cranach the Elder in 1520. The over 500 year old original had the size: height: 62,7 cm width: 42 cm | height: 24,7 in width: 16,5 in. Oil on panel was applied by the painter as the medium of the artwork. The artwork has the following text as inscrption: signed. Moveover, the piece of art is part of the Mauritshuis's collection, which the Mauritshuis is home to the best artworks of Dutch painting of the seventeenth century. This classic art public domain masterpiece is supplied with courtesy of Mauritshuis, The Hague. Moreover, the work of art has the following creditline: Prince Lichnowsky, Kuchelna, Silesia, before 1906-1928; Paul Cassirer Gallery, Berlin and Amsterdam, 1929; Hans W.C. Tietje, Amsterdam (pledged by him to Daniel Wolf, Wassenaar), 1932-1940; sold in June 1940 by Tietje to Miedl (35.000 guilders); Alois Miedl, Amsterdam, 1940; W.A. Hofer, Berlin, 1940; E. Lucas Cranach the Elder was a painter, whose artistic style was mainly Northern Renaissance. The German artist lived for 81 years - born in 1472 in Kronach, Bavaria, Germany and passed away in 1553 in Weimar, Thuringia, Germany.
