The version of the painting measures the size: height: 19,7 cm width: 23,9 cm | height: 7,8 in width: 9,4 in and was produced with the medium oil on panel. The original artwork was inscribed with the following text: signed: IM°R. Nowadays, this artpiece belongs to the Mauritshuis's collection. This classic art public domain artwork is supplied with courtesy of Mauritshuis, The Hague. The creditline of the artpiece is: M.F. Dittlinger, Helvoirt; purchased, 1893 (1.500 guilders, together with inv. nos. 572, 574-576). Besides, the alignment is landscape with an image ratio of 1.2 : 1, which implies that the length is 20% longer than the width. Jan Miense Molenaer was a male painter, whose artistic style can be attributed primarily to Baroque. The European painter lived for a total of 68 years, born in the year 1600 in Haarlem, North Holland, Netherlands and passed away in 1668.
