The masterpiece with the title Christ was made by the painter Gortzius Geldorp the Elder. The beyond 420 years old original version was painted with the absolute size: height: 51 cm width: 41,5 cm | height: 20,1 in width: 16,3 in. Oil on panel was applied by the artist as the medium of the artwork. Today, the artwork belongs to the collection of Mauritshuis. The classic art masterpiece, which is in the public domain is being included with courtesy of Mauritshuis, The Hague. In addition, the work of art has the creditline: Martial Reghellini Schio, Venice and Brussels, until 1826; purchased by King William I for the Mauritshuis, 1831; on long-term loan to the Netherlands Institute for Cultural Heritage, 1955?-1987. Further, the alignment is in portrait format and has a ratio of 3 : 4, which implies that the length is 25% shorter than the width.
