The more than 380 year-old original had the size: height: 193,7 cm width: 164,5 cm | height: 76,3 in width: 64,8 in and was produced with the technique of oil on canvas. The artwork has the following text as inscrption: signed and dated: A. Bloemaert. fe. / 1638. Today, the artwork is in the the Mauritshuis's art collection, which the Mauritshuis is home to the best artworks of Dutch painting of the seventeenth century.
