Overview

In the year 1851 the American painter Thomas Hewes Hinckley painted the painting Rats amongst the Barley Sheaves. The piece of art was made with the size: 33 1/4 x 40 1/4 in (84,5 x 102,2 cm). Oil on canvas was applied by the painter as the medium of the painting. This piece of art can be viewed in in the collection of The Metropolitan Museum of Art, which is one of the world's largest and finest art museums, which includes more than two million works of art spanning five thousand years of world culture, from prehistory to the present and from every part of the globe.. This artwork, which is in the public domain is being included with courtesy of The Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York, Gift of Erving Wolf Foundation, in memory of Diane R. Wolf, 1982. The alignment is landscape with an image ratio of 1.2 : 1, meaning that the length is 20% longer than the width.
