Lucas Cranach the Elder was a painter of German nationality, whose art style can be classified as Northern Renaissance. The German artist lived for 81 years and was born in 1472 in Kronach, Bavaria, Germany and passed away in the year 1553 in Weimar, Thuringia, Germany.
