What specifically does the curator team of the Rijksmuseum write about this 17th century work of art painted by Meindert Hobbema? (© Copyright - by Rijksmuseum - Rijksmuseum)

Hobbema learned to paint landscapes from Jacob van Ruisdael. While their works are similar in many respects, Hobbema’s paintings make a friendlier, lighter impression. Young tree tops stretch high up into the air, the foliage gleaming in the sun. A watermill that Hobbema had drawn in the eastern part of the Netherlands provided the subject of this painting.

This means, it is easy and straightforward to hang your Canvas print without the use of additional wall-mounts. Canvas prints are suited for any type of wall.
  • Poster on canvas material: The Artprinta poster print is a UV printed canvas paper with a slightly rough texture on the surface. Please keep in mind, that depending on the absolute size of the poster we add a white margin 2-6cm round about the painting in order to facilitate the framing.
  • Printed acrylic glass (with real glass coating): A glossy print on acrylic glass, often labelled as a plexiglass print, changes the artwork into great décor. Moreover, the acrylic fine art print is a distinct alternative to aluminium and canvas art prints. The artwork is being made thanks to state-of-the-art UV direct printing technology. It makes intense and deep colors. The great advantage of a plexiglass fine art print is that sharp contrasts and also small details will be more exposed because of the precise gradation.
  • Metal print (aluminium dibond): This is a metal print made on aluminium dibond with a true depth. For the Aluminium Dibond option, we print your selected work of art on the aluminium composite white-primed surface.
