Available product materials

We offer a range of various materials and sizes for every product. You can choose among the following product customization options:

  • Canvas print: A canvas print, not to be confused with a canvas painting, is a digital image printed on a cotton canvas. Canvas prints are relatively low in weight, which implies that it is easy to hang the Canvas print without any wall-mounts. A canvas print is suited for any type of wall.
  • Aluminium dibond (metal print): This is a metal print manufactured on aluminium dibond with an impressive depth effect, creating a contemporary look thanks to a surface structure, which is non-reflective. This direct print on aluminium is the most popular entry-level product and is an extremely stylish way to display art, because it draws focus on the artwork.
  • Acrylic glass print (with real glass coating): The acrylic glass print, which is sometimes referred to as a UV print on plexiglass, will convert your favorite artwork into gorgeous wall décor. With an acrylic glass fine art print contrasts and also smaller image details will be more exposed with the help of the delicate tonal gradation.
  • Poster print on canvas material: A poster is a UV printed canvas with a slightly roughened structure on the surface, which reminds the actual masterpiece. Please bear in mind, that depending on the size of the canvas poster print we add a white margin of around 2-6cm around the print motif, which facilitates the framing with your custom frame.

Important legal note: We do our best to depict our art products in as much detail as possible and to display them visually in our shop. Nevertheless, the pigments of the printed materials and the print result can differ to a certain extent from the presentation on your screen. Depending on your settings of your screen and the nature of the surface, color pigments may not be printed as realisitcally as the digital version shown here. Given that our are processed and printed by hand, there might also be minor variations in the exact position and the size of the motif.

Today, one would be looking at the modern Accademia Bridge from this position on the canal. The bell tower in Campo della Carità, to the right, fell long ago, and the adjoining church and former convent, with a rebuilt entrance facade, now houses the Accademia picture gallery. Canaletto made many drawings from which he constructed such views in the studio. This one is from a series of twenty views that were probably painted for Joseph Smith, British consul in Venice from 1744 to 1760.
