Canvas prints are suited for all types of walls in your home.

A direct Direct Print on Aluminum Dibond is your perfect introduction to fine art reproductions manufactured with aluminum. For the Aluminium Dibond print, we print the artwork right on the surface of the white-primed aluminum material. The white and bright parts of the original artpiece shine with a silk gloss but without glow. Colors are luminous in the highest definition, details appear crisp and clear.
  • Poster (canvas material): The poster is a printed cotton canvas with a slightly rough surface texture, which reminds the actual masterpiece. A poster is suited for putting the art copy using a special frame. Please bear in mind, that depending on the absolute size of the poster we add a white margin 2 - 6cm round about the painting in order to facilitate the framing.

Legal note: We try whatever we can to describe the products as clearly as possible and to display them visually on the various product detail pages. Nevertheless, the tone of the print materials, as well as the imprint might diverge somehwat from the image on the monitor. Depending on the settings of your screen and the quality of the surface, not all colors can be printed as exactly as the digital version on this website. In view of the fact that all the art prints are processed and printed manually, there may also be minor variations in the motif's exact position and the size.

Anton Faistenberger, the most important landscape painters in Austria in 1700, was mainly involved in the heroic nature inherent in nature. So it is not surprising that it particularly challenged the representation of a thunderstorm. Two images in the Vienna Academy Gallery and the Brukenthal Museum in Sibiu / Sibiu show in a smaller format a landscape after the storm with already again lichtendem sky. Here, however, this still going on. Faistenberger likely in our paintings, a major painting in mind have had Rubens' famous "Thunderstorm landscape" in the Kunsthistorisches Museum, which has come with the collection of Archduke Leopold Wilhelm in Vienna. While the shift towards low- and Dutch art of the Austrian landscape painting of the late 18th century is influential, we have in this case dealing with an early example of such a model acquisition. Think of this place next to the Rubens' image as well as to the storm landscapes of Frederick van Valckenborch. However Faistenberger not imitate the Dutch art, but linked to the principles of composition with its characteristic, well-trained in painting by Johann Carl Loth painting. [Georg Lechner, 6/2010]
