The 19th century painting titled Young Woman Sewing was painted by the artist Pierre-Auguste Renoir. The 140 years old version of the artpiece was painted with the size: 61,4 × 50,5 cm (24 3/16 × 19 7/8 in) and was produced with the technique of oil on canvas. The original artwork was inscribed with the information: inscribed upper left: Renoir 79. The work of art is part of the Art Institute Chicago's collection. What is more, the alignment is in portrait format and has an aspect ratio of 1 : 1.2, meaning that the length is 20% shorter than the width. The illustrator, painter, sculptor Pierre-Auguste Renoir was an artist from France, whose style can mainly be attributed to Impressionism. The French painter was born in the year 1841 in Limoges, Nouvelle-Aquitaine, France and deceased at the age of 78 in the year 1919.
