This over 150 year-old artwork called Flowers in a Vase was made by Pierre-Auguste Renoir in 1866. The original version was made with the absolute size: 81,3 x 65,1 cm (32 x 25 5/8 in) and was painted on the medium oil on canvas. In addition to this, the alignment of the digital reproduction is in portrait format with a side ratio of 1 : 1.2, which implies that the length is 20% shorter than the width. The illustrator, painter, sculptor Pierre-Auguste Renoir was an artist from France, whose style can primarily be assigned to Impressionism. The Impressionist artist lived for 78 years - born in the year 1841 in Limoges, Nouvelle-Aquitaine, France and died in 1919.
