Product materials our customers can choose from

For every fine art print we offer a range of different sizes & materials. You can pick your favorite size and material between the options:

  • Print on glossy acrylic glass (with real glass coating on top): An print on acrylic glass, which is often named as a plexiglass print, will change an original work of art into brilliant décor. The real glass coating protects your custom fine art print against light and external influences for many years.
  • Canvas print: The UV printed canvas material stretched on a wood frame. A canvas produces a homelike and comfortable ambience. A canvas print of this artwork will let you turn your art print into a large size work of art. Hanging your canvas print: The advantage of canvas prints is that they are relatively low in weight. That means, it is quite simple to hang up your Canvas print without the support of additional wall-mounts. Canvas prints are suitable for any type of wall.
  • Metal print (aluminium dibond): These are metal prints on aluminium dibond with an outstanding depth effect - for a modern impression and non-reflective surface structure. A direct Aluminium Dibond Print is your perfect introduction to fine art reproductions manufactured on aluminum. The bright parts of the original artpiece shimmer with a silk gloss but without any glow.
  • Printed poster on canvas material: Our poster print is a UV printed canvas with a slightly rough texture on the surface, that reminds the actual artwork. A poster is suited for putting the art print using a personal frame. Please note, that depending on the size of the poster print we add a white margin of around 2-6cm around the work of art in order to facilitate the framing.

Disclaimer: We try everythig possible to describe our art products as closely as possible and to showcase them visually. Please keep in mind that the tone of the print materials and the printing may diverge marginally from the image on your device's monitor. Depending on your settings of your screen and the condition of the surface, not all colors are printed 100% realistically. Because all the art prints are processed and printed manually, there may as well be minor deviations in the motif's exact position and the size.

In George Hitchcock’s unusual presentation of the Annunciation, the virgin is depicted as a Dutch peasant girl standing in a field of lilies. Traditionally, the lily is a symbol of the angel Gabriel, and Mary’s downcast eyes and humble stance imply that she has received his divine message. Hitchcock spent much of his life in Holland, and his work synthesizes elements of several European art movements. The choice of a religious subject, the unusual composition, and his interest in the effects of sunlight and shadow reflect the influence of the Pre-Raphaelites, the Symbolists, and the Impressionists on Hitchcock’s work.
