What is more, the alignment of the digital reproduction is in portrait format and has a side ratio of 9 : 16, meaning that the length is 45% shorter than the width. Anton Mauve was a painter, watercolourist from the Netherlands, whose artistic style can be attributed primarily to Impressionism. The artist was born in 1838 and passed away at the age of 50 in 1888.
