In 1872 the male artist Gustav Ranzoni made the painting. The original had the following size: 88 x 174 cm - frame: 133 x 220 x 15 cm. Oil on canvas was applied by the European artist as the technique for the artpiece. The original artpiece has the following inscription: signed and dated lower right: G. Ranzoni 872nd. Nowadays, the artpiece can be viewed in in the digital art collection of Belvedere. Further, the alignment is landscape and has a ratio of 2 : 1, meaning that the length is two times longer than the width. Gustav Ranzoni was a painter from Germany, whose style can be attributed mainly to Realism. The Realist artist was born in the year 1826 in Unternalb, Lower Austria and died at the age of 74 in the year 1900 in Vienna.
