The piece of art was painted by the painter Gilbert von Canal. The more than 110 year-old original was made with the size: 151 x 201 cm and was painted with the technique oil on canvas. The original artwork was inscribed with the following information: signed lower left: Canal. The artpiece can be viewed in in the Belvedere's digital collection in Vienna, Austria. The modern art work of art, which is part of the public domain is supplied with courtesy of © Belvedere, Vienna, inventory number: 1071. : purchase from exhibition Künstlerhaus, Vienna in 1910. The painter, watercolourist Gilbert von Canal was an artist from Germany, whose style can mainly be attributed to Realism. The European painter lived for 78 years and was born in 1849 in Ljubljana and passed away in the year 1927.
