The more than 100 years old painting called Pink Roses was painted by the German artist Ernst Ludwig Kirchner in 1918. The original has the following size: 31 1/2 x 27 7/8 in (80 x 70,8 cm) framed: 41 3/8 x 37 3/4 x 3 1/8 in (105,1 x 95,9 x 7,9 cm). Oil on canvas was applied by the artist as the medium of the piece of art. Today, this artwork forms part of the Saint Louis Art Museum's collection. Ernst Ludwig Kirchner was a male painter, whose artistic style can mainly be classified as Expressionism. The Expressionist painter lived for 58 years and was born in the year 1880 in Aschaffenburg, Bavaria, Germany and died in the year 1938.
