The view does not reflect the natural appearance of a concrete point of view, but seems to have been composed by artists from two different views. The position seems to be on a hill in a relatively short distance in front of the glacier. The Silhoutte of the glacier and the summit is out of this close completely different than in the paintings. Rather, it corresponds to the view that offers from the entrance of the Stubai valley in Mieders.

Which type of art product do we offer here?

The Stubaiferner in Tirol was created by Anton Hansch. The beyond 140 years old original was painted with the size of 95 x 126 cm - frame: 134 x 166 x 11 cm and was painted with the medium oil on canvas. The original artwork's inscription is: "signed lower right: Hansch". This artpiece is in the the Belvedere's digital collection. Furthermore, the work of art has the following creditline: transfer from the Kunsthistorisches Museum, Vienna in 1929. Besides this, the alignment of the digital reproduction is in landscape format with a side ratio of 4 : 3, which means that the length is 33% longer than the width. Anton Hansch was a male painter, whose style was primarily Realism. The artist was born in the year 1813 in Vienna, Vienna state, Austria and deceased at the age of 63 in the year 1876.
