The creditline of the artwork is: purchase from Bertha Mirbach, Bavaria in 1962. In addition to that, the alignment of the digital reproduction is portrait and has a side ratio of 3 : 4, meaning that the length is 25% shorter than the width. The painter Hans Makart was a European artist, whose art style can be classified as Historicism. The Historicist artist was born in 1840 in Salzburg, Salzburg, Austria and deceased at the age of 44 in the year 1884 in Vienna, Vienna state, Austria.
