This painting with a series of forty five portraits of students from the studio of Paul Delaroche (1797-1856) is part of the tradition of studio portraits, where students represent them. Thus, each of them has painted his neighbor, making this table multiple authors testimony particularly interesting about the painting of the Romantic generation. If the authors are not known, five students were identified from left to right and top to bottom: Auguste Toulmouche (1829-1890), Jean-Léon Gérôme (1824-1904), Leon Dussart (1824-?) Cham (1819-1879) and Francois-Henri Nason (1821-1902)

Available materials

In the dropdown menu next to the product offering you can choose your individual size and material. Choose among the following product options now to match your preferences in size and material:

  • Aluminium dibond print: An Aluminium Dibond print is a material with a true effect of depth. Its non-reflective surface structure creates a contemporary look. For our Direct Aluminium Dibond option, we print the artwork onto the surface of the aluminum composite. The bright and white parts of the original artpiece shine with a silk gloss, however without any glare.
  • The canvas print: A printed canvas, not to be confused with a canvas painting, is a digital copy printed onto cotton canvas. It generates a plastic effect of three-dimensionality. A canvas print has the great advantage of being low in weight, which implies that it is easy to hang up the Canvas print without extra wall-mounts. Canvas prints are suited for all kinds of walls.
  • Printed poster on canvas material: The poster print is a printed flat canvas with a slightly rough surface structure. Please note, that depending on the size of the canvas poster print we add a white margin 2-6cm round about the artwork in order to facilitate the framing.
  • Acrylic glass print: A glossy print on acrylic glass, often labelled as a plexiglass print, makes the original artwork into beautiful décor. In addition, it makes a great alternative to canvas or dibond fine art replicas. The great upside of a plexiglass art print is that contrasts and also color details will be more exposed with the help of the fine tonal gradation. The acrylic glass protects your selected art replica against sunlight and external influences for up to 60 years.
