In 1831 Thomas Fearnley created this romanticist masterpiece with the title "Munich after the storm". The original was painted with the size 84 cm x 111,5 cm. Canvas was used by the Norwegian painter as the medium of the piece of art. The original artwork's inscription is the following: bottom left: Fearnley 1,831th. Furthermore, the work of art is part of the digital collection of Städtische Galerie im Lenbachhaus und Kunstbau München, which is a museum with the world'd largest collection of works by the Blue Rider artists, art of the 19th century and modern art after 1945. Further, the alignment of the digital reproduction is in landscape format and has an image ratio of 4 : 3, which means that the length is 33% longer than the width. The painter Thomas Fearnley was a European artist from Norway, whose style can be classified as Romanticism. The Norwegian painter lived for 40 years and was born in 1802 in Halden, Ostfold, Norway and deceased in 1842.
