The 19th century masterpiece On the beach of Santa Lucia in Naples was created by the Austrian artist Rudolf von Alt in 1867. The more than 150 year old original measures the size: 52,5 x 79 cm - frame: 69 x 95 x 8 cm and was made with the medium oil on canvas. Signed lower right: R. Alt was the masterpiece's inscription. Furthermore, the artwork is included in the art collection of Belvedere located in Vienna, Austria. We are pleased to mention that this public domain piece of art is supplied with courtesy of © Belvedere, Vienna, inventory number: 5643. The creditline of the artpiece is: legat Zdenko Hussa, Vienna in 1964. On top of that, alignment is landscape with a side ratio of 3 : 2, which implies that the length is 50% longer than the width. The painter Rudolf von Alt was an artist, whose artistic style can primarily be classified as Realism. The Realist artist was born in the year 1812 in Vienna, Vienna state, Austria and passed away at the age of 93 in the year 1905.
