"Fruits of the Midi" is an artwork made by the male artist Pierre-Auguste Renoir. The beyond 130 years old original had the following size: 51 × 65 cm (20 1/16 × 25 5/8 in). Oil on canvas was applied by the French artist as the medium of the artpiece. "Inscribed lower left: Renoir 81" is the artwork's inscription. It belongs to the digital art collection of Art Institute Chicago, which is one of the world’s great art museums, housing a collection that spans centuries and the globe. The modern art public domain piece of art is being provided with courtesy of Art Institute Chicago. Also, the work of art has the following creditline: Mr. and Mrs. Martin A. Ryerson Collection. What is more, the alignment of the digital reproduction is in landscape format with an aspect ratio of 4 : 3, meaning that the length is 33% longer than the width. Pierre-Auguste Renoir was a male illustrator, painter, sculptor, whose art style was mainly Impressionism. The Impressionist painter was born in the year 1841 in Limoges, Nouvelle-Aquitaine, France and passed away at the age of 78 in the year 1919.
