The over 180 year old piece of art was made by the male Dutch painter Jozef Israëls. Nowadays, this artpiece is in the the collection of Rijksmuseum, which is the largest museum for Dutch art and history from the Middle Ages to the present day. Jozef Israëls was a male painter from the Netherlands, whose art style can mainly be assigned to Historicism. The Dutch artist lived for 87 years, born in 1824 in Groningen,Netherlands and deceased in the year 1911.
