Available product material choices
We offer a range of various materials and sizes for every product. You can choose your your favorite size and material among the following options:
- The poster print (canvas material): The Artprinta poster is a UV printed sheet of flat canvas with a nice finish on the surface. Please keep in mind, that depending on the absolute size of the canvas poster print we add a white margin of around 2-6cm around the print, which facilitates the framing with your custom frame.
- Metal (aluminium dibond print): Aluminium Dibond prints are metal prints with an impressive depth effect. The Direct Print on Aluminum Dibond is the excellent introduction to art prints made with aluminum. The bright and white parts of the work of art shine with a silk gloss but without any glow.
- The acrylic glass print: An print on acrylic glass, often denoted as a plexiglass print, will change an artwork into magnificient décor. In addition, the acrylic glass print is a distinct alternative to aluminium or canvas fine art prints. The major benefit of a plexiglass art print is that sharp contrasts as well as small artwork details will be more visible due to the very subtle gradation.
- Canvas print: The printed canvas material applied on a wood stretcher frame. A canvas has a typical effect of three dimensionality. Also, a canvas print makes a attractive and appealing appearance. Your canvas of this artwork will let you turn your art print into a large size artwork like you know from galleries. A canvas print has the great advantage of being relatively low in weight. That means, it is easy to hang up the Canvas print without any wall-mounts. A canvas print is suitable for any type of wall.
Important note: We try everything to depict the products as accurate as possible and to display them visually in our shop. However, some tone of the print materials, as well as the print result can diverge to a certain extent from the image on your device's monitor. Depending on your settings of your screen and the condition of the surface, colors can unfortunately not be printed one hundret percent realistically. Since the fine art prints are processed and printed manually, there may as well be minor differences in the motif's size and exact position.

Description: The Greek philosopher Diogenes (404-323 BC) is seated in his abode, the earthenware tub, in the Metroon, Athens, lighting the lamp in daylight with which he was to search for an honest man. His companions were dogs that also served as emblems of his "Cynic" (Greek: "kynikos," dog-like) philosophy, which emphasized an austere existence. Three years after this painting was first exhibited, Gerome was appointed a professor of painting at the Ecole des Beaux-Arts where he would instruct many students, both French and foreign.
