This over 300 year old masterpiece was made by Jacopo Bassano. The piece of art had the following dimensions: 38 3/16 x 31 1/8 in (97 x 79 cm) and was produced with the technique oil on canvas. This piece of art is part of the Art Institute Chicago's digital collection, which is one of the world’s great art museums, housing a collection that spans centuries and the globe. Furthermore, alignment is in portrait format and has a ratio of 1 : 1.2, which implies that the length is 20% shorter than the width. Jacopo Bassano was a painter, draftsman, whose style was primarily Mannerism. The artist lived for a total of 82 years, born in the year 1510 in Bassano del Grappa, Vicenza province, Veneto, Italy and deceased in 1592.
