This 19th century work of art was painted by the realist artist Ferdinand Georg Waldmüller in 1832. The painting has the size: 61,5 x 48 cm - frame dimensions: 75 x 62 x 7 cm and was painted with the technique of oil on canvas. The original artwork was inscribed with the information: signed and dated top right: Waldmüller 1832. What is more, this work of art is included in the Belvedere's collection. We are pleased to reference that this public domain artwork is being included with courtesy of © Belvedere, Vienna, inventory number: 5385. The creditline of the artpiece is the following: purchase from Alice Loewy-Pick, New Jersey (USA) in 1960. Moreover, alignment is portrait with a side ratio of 3 : 4, meaning that the length is 25% shorter than the width. Ferdinand Georg Waldmüller was a painter, whose artistic style can be attributed mainly to Realism. The Austrian painter lived for a total of 72 years - born in the year 1793 in Vienna and deceased in 1865.
