This 17th century masterpiece Fishing Boats on the Beach at Night was created by the male Dutch artist Egbert van der Poel in 1660. The over 360 years old original measures the size: height: 46,2 cm width: 37 cm | height: 18,2 in width: 14,6 in and was painted with the techinque oil on panel. The painting has the following text as inscrption: signed: E. van der Poel. What is more, the work of art belongs to the Mauritshuis's digital art collection. This classic art artwork, which belongs to the public domain is included with courtesy of Mauritshuis, The Hague. The creditline of the artpiece is: Transferred, 1822; on long-term loan to the Historisch Museum, Rotterdam, since 1986. Further, the alignment is portrait with a ratio of 1 : 1.2, which means that the length is 20% shorter than the width. Egbert van der Poel was a male artist, painter from the Netherlands, whose art style can be classified as Baroque. The Baroque artist was born in 1621 in Delft, South Holland, Netherlands and deceased at the age of 43 in 1664 in Rotterdam, South Holland, Netherlands.
