Shown is the spa gardens in Bad Koesen in Naumburg. Munch was 1906-07 to cure his nervous suffering in Bad Koesen to cure.

This modern art painting was painted by the expressionist artist Edvard Munch. The beyond 110 years old original version measures the dimensions: 70,5 x 81 cm - frame dimensions: 94 x 102 x 11 cm and was painted with the technique oil on canvas. Signed and dated lower left: E. Munch 1906 is the masterpiece's inscription. What is more, this artwork belongs to the Belvedere's art collection. We are glad to state that this public domain work of art is being provided with courtesy of © Belvedere, Vienna, inventory number: 1858. The creditline of the artwork is the following: purchase from Modern Gallery Heinrich Thannhauser, Munich. - 1955 handover to the Kunsthistorisches Museum, Vienna. - 1987 acquisition from the Kunsthistorisches Museum, Vienna in 1916. Further, the alignment of the digital reproduction is landscape and has a side ratio of 1.2 : 1, which implies that the length is 20% longer than the width. The painter, graphic artist Edvard Munch was a European artist, whose style can mainly be classified as Expressionism. The artist lived for a total of 81 years, born in the year 1863 in Loten, Hedmark, Norway and deceased in the year 1944.
