The white and bright components of the artwork shimmer with a silky gloss, however without the glare.
• The canvas print: A canvas direct print is a printed cotton canvas mounted on a wood frame. In the year 1898 Carl Kaiser-Herbst created the modern art masterpiece named Donau-Auen. The over 120 years old original version had the size: 89 x 131,5 cm - frame dimensions: 135 × 177 × 12 cm and was made with the technique oil on canvas. Signed and dated lower right: C. Kaiser Autumn 898 is the painting's original inscription. The artwork forms part of the art collection of Belvedere, which is one of Europe's most famous museums with three locations that blends the experience of architecture and art in a unique way. The painter Carl Kaiser-Herbst was an artist, whose style can be attributed mainly to Impressionism. The Austrian painter was born in 1858 in Vienna, Vienna state, Austria and deceased at the age of 100 in the year 1958 in Vienna, Vienna state, Austria.
