The work of art was made by the French painter Augustin Théodule Ribot in 1880. The over 140 year old original was made with the size: 92,5 x 73,5 cm - frame size: 121 x 105 x 11 cm. Oil on canvas was applied by the French artist as the medium of the work of art. The original artwork is inscribed with the details: "signed lower right: t. Ribot.". The artpiece is in the the Belvedere's art collection, which is one of Europe's most famous museums with three locations that blends the experience of architecture and art in a unique way. Augustin Théodule Ribot was a painter from France, whose art style was primarily Realism. The Realist artist was born in the year 1823 in Saint-Nicolas-d'Attez, Eure, Haute-Normandie and died at the age of 68 in the year 1891.
