The product offering

The over 160 year-old masterpiece was painted by the male German artist August Wilhelm Leu in 1859. The beyond 160 years old original had the size 122 x 178 cm - frame: 137,5 x 194,5 x 6,5 cm. Oil on canvas was used by the German painter as the technique for the artpiece. The masterpiece has the following text as inscrption: "signed and dated lower right: A. Leu. 1859". What is more, the artwork is included in the Belvedere's art collection located in Vienna, Austria. This artwork, which belongs to the public domain is supplied with courtesy of © Belvedere, Vienna, inventory number: 24. Creditline of the artwork: purchase from exhibition Academy of Fine Arts in Vienna in 1859. Further, the alignment of the digital reproduction is landscape with a side ratio of 3 : 2, which means that the length is 50% longer than the width. August Wilhelm Leu was a painter of German nationality, whose style can be attributed mainly to Romanticism. The European artist was born in the year 1819 in Münster, Westphalia and passed away at the age of 78 in 1897 in Seelisberg, Kanton Uri.
