The modern art artpiece "Landscape along the Seine with the Institut de France and the Pont des Arts" was created by the British painter Alfred Sisley in 1880. The more than 140 years old original was painted with the dimensions of 21 × 24 1/2 in (53,3 × 62,2 cm). Oil on canvas was applied by the European artist as the technique for the piece of art. The original masterpiece has the following inscription: inscribed lower left: Sisley. The piece of art belongs to the Art Institute Chicago's art collection. The modern art public domain masterpiece is supplied with courtesy of Art Institute Chicago. Creditline of the artwork: Gift of Mr. and Mrs. William Wood Prince. In addition to that, the alignment is landscape with an aspect ratio of 1.2 : 1, which implies that the length is 20% longer than the width. The painter, etcher, lithographer Alfred Sisley was an artist, whose artistic style was primarily Impressionism. The British artist was born in 1839 in Paris, Ile-de-France, France and died at the age of 60 in 1899.
