This 17th century work of art was created by the baroque master Aelbert Cuyp in 1640. It forms part of the Rijksmuseum's collection, which is the largest museum for Dutch art and history from the Middle Ages to the present day. Aelbert Cuyp was a painter, whose style can primarily be attributed to Baroque. The Baroque painter was born in 1621 in Dordrecht, South Holland, Netherlands and died at the age of 70 in the year 1691.
