About the over 360 years old painting

In 1654 the male Dutch painter Johannes Vermeer created this masterpiece. The original measures the size: height: 97,8 cm width: 104,6 cm | height: 38,5 in width: 41,2 in and was made on the medium oil on canvas. Signed: JVMeer is the painting's original inscription. The work of art belongs to the Mauritshuis's digital art collection. In addition to this, the alignment is square with an image ratio of 1 : 1, which means that the length is equal to the width. Johannes Vermeer was a painter, art collector from the Netherlands, whose artistic style can mainly be classified as Baroque. The Baroque artist was born in 1632 and passed away at the age of 43 in 1675.
