The Archangel Michael is represented in the process of defeat a demon. He is standing with wings spread. He holds in his left hand a sword in its sheath, and in his right hand a spear with which he pierces a naked demon and chained the archangel crowd right foot. Michel is wearing a green tunic with golden armor and a red cape off where the wind blows.

The fineness of the painting, the abundant use of gold, about the icon, the riza (metal coating worked repulsed surrounding the icon) allow us to place this icon in Moscow in the seventeenth century.
