Maria is at the top of the figural composition with the boy Jesus who looks down on the accumulation of figures. Among these, the Saint Barbara (Book and Sword), Lawrence (rust), Florian (flag) and Sebastian (bow and arrow) can be seen. Eckhart Knab, the author of the monograph on Daniel Gran, recognized this as a variation of the ceiling fresco "allegory of the study of earthly things" in the State Hall of the National Library in Vienna. Here, the secular allegory by inserting attributes as well as Maria in a straightforward manner was transformed into a religious. In 1730 Daniel Gran made the baroque painting. The piece of art measures the size 52,5 x 64 cm - frame dimensions: 63,5 x 78 x 6 cm. It is included in the Belvedere's art collection, which is one of Europe's most famous museums with three locations that blends the experience of architecture and art in a unique way. In addition to this, the alignment of the digital reproduction is landscape and has a ratio of 4 : 3, meaning that the length is 33% longer than the width. The painter Daniel Gran was a European artist from Austria, whose style can be attributed primarily to Baroque. The European artist was born in the year 1694 in Vienna, Vienna state, Austria and died at the age of 63 in the year 1757 in Sankt Polten, Niederosterreich, Austria.
