The painting was created by the high renaissance artist Bernardino Luini. The original measures the size: Framed: 86 x 74 x 8 cm (33 7/8 x 29 1/8 x 3 1/8 in); Unframed: 55,5 x 42,7 cm (21 7/8 x 16 13/16 in). Oil on wood was used by the painter as the medium of the masterpiece. Nowadays, the artwork can be viewed in in the digital collection of The Cleveland Museum of Art. The alignment of the digital reproduction is in portrait format and has an aspect ratio of 3 : 4, meaning that the length is 25% shorter than the width. The painter, draftsman Bernardino Luini was a European artist, whose artistic style can be classified as High Renaissance. The High Renaissance artist was born in 1470 and died at the age of 62 in 1532.
