Description of this more than 170 years old artpiece

This painting was painted by the painter Jean - François Millet in 1850. The original measures the size: 45 x 40 cm - frame dimensions: 63 x 58 x 9 cm and was painted with oil on canvas. Moveover, the artwork is included in the Belvedere's art collection, which is located in Vienna, Austria. The modern art artpiece, which is in the public domain is included with courtesy of © Belvedere, Vienna, inventory number: 7948. Creditline of the artwork: transfer from the Kunsthistorisches Museum, Vienna in 1987. Besides this, the alignment is portrait and has a side ratio of 1 : 1.2, meaning that the length is 20% shorter than the width. Jean - François Millet was a painter, whose artistic style can be attributed mainly to Realism. The artist lived for a total of 61 years, born in the year 1814 in Gruchy at Gréville and died in the year 1875.
