The Grave of William Penn is an artwork created by the artist Edward Hicks. The more than 170 year old original version had the size: 26 x 29 3/4 in (66 x 75,6 cm) framed: 31 x 34 7/8 x 1 1/8 in (78,74 x 88,58 x 2,86 cm). Oil on canvas was used by the American artist as the medium of the artwork. Nowadays, the artpiece belongs to the art collection of Yale University Art Gallery, which belongs to Yale University and is the oldest art museum of a university in the western hemisphere.
