Lady in profile with veil and clove was created by Heinrich von Angeli. The more than 160 year-old original was made with the following following size: 58,5 x 46,5 cm and was painted with the techinque of oil on canvas. The original artwork is inscribed with the text: signed and dated on the left side: v Angeli 1860; again right signed: H.v.Angeli. What is more, the artpiece is in the the art collection of Belvedere, which is one of Europe's most famous museums with three locations that blends the experience of architecture and art in a unique way. This public domain artwork is being included with courtesy of © Belvedere, Vienna, inventory number: 5629. Creditline of the artwork: transfer from the Federal Monuments Office, Vienna in 1963. On top of that, alignment is in portrait format and has a side ratio of 1 : 1.2, which implies that the length is 20% shorter than the width. The painter Heinrich von Angeli was an artist, whose artistic style can primarily be classified as Historicism. The Austrian painter was born in the year 1840 in Sopron / Sopron, Hungary and passed away at the age of 85 in 1925 in Vienna.
