We are glad to state that the masterpiece, which belongs to the public domain is being provided with courtesy of © Belvedere, Vienna, inventory number: 1187. : purchase from art dealer Neumann, Vienna in 1911. Friedrich von Amerling was a painter, whose style can primarily be classified as Biedermeier. The Austrian artist was born in the year 1803 in Vienna, Vienna state, Austria and died at the age of 84 in the year 1887 in Vienna, Vienna state, Austria.
