Materials our customers can pick

For every art print we offer different sizes and materials. You can choose among the following product customization options:

  • The acrylic glass print: An print on acrylic glass, which is often described as a print on plexiglass, will convert an original work of art into décor. Moreover, it is a good alternative option to dibond or canvas art prints.
  • Poster on canvas material: The poster print is a printed flat canvas with a slightly roughened texture on the surface. Please note, that depending on the absolute size of the canvas poster print we add a white margin of approximately 2-6cm around the print motif, which facilitates the framing with your custom frame.
  • Canvas: The UV printed canvas mounted on a wooden stretcher frame. A canvas creates a exclusive look of three dimensionality. A canvas print has the advantage of being low in weight. That means, it is quite simple to hang up the Canvas print without additional wall-mounts. A canvas print is suitable for any kind of wall.
  • Metal print (aluminium dibond): This is a metal print made on aluminium dibond with a true depth effect, which creates a contemporary impression with a non-reflective surface.

Legal disclaimer: We try what we can in order to depict our products as accurately as possible and to exhibit them visually in our shop. Please keep in mind that the colors of the printing material and the printing can vary slightly from the image on the screen. Depending on your settings of your screen and the nature of the surface, color pigments can unfortunately not be printed one hundret percent realistically. Given that all our art prints are processed and printed by hand, there might also be minor variations in the motif's size and exact position.

What does the curator team of the Art Institute Chicago write about the work of art from the painter Perugino? (© - by Art Institute Chicago - Art Institute Chicago)

Perugino’s serene and decorous art was widely influential in his native region of Umbria and beyond, most famously through his contact with the young Raphael. These four panels, together with another one depicting the Resurrection, now at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York, once constituted a predella—a series of small pictures, often with narrative content, forming the base of an altarpiece. In this case, the painting that was positioned above the predella as the focal point of the altarpiece is unidentified. The predella scenes depict moments when Christ’s special nature was revealed: his birth, his baptism by Saint John the Baptist in the river Jordan, his conversation with a woman of Samaria at the well of the patriarch Jacob, the Resurrection, and his appearance to Mary Magdalene after the Resurrection.

The version of the masterpiece had the size of 26,2 x 46,3 cm; 10 5/16 x 18 1/4 in and was painted with the techinque of tempera on panel, transferred to canvas.
