Two girls, one in profile and the other three quarters are painted close up in front of a seaside landscape. The girl left foreground is shown in profile, brown hair cut short to Boy and wearing a blue hat. In the background, his companion, hair and clear blue eyes, wears a red wide-brimmed hat. A gull, wings outstretched, approaches her.
Bonnard liked the sea that he had discovered in 1909, during a first stay in the south, in St. Tropez. From January to April 1917, he worked in Cannes. The young brunette woman in the foreground was identified by Antoine Terrasse as Lucienne Frenelle Dupuy, a friend of the painter.

Art print materials which you can select:
The product dropdown menu provides you with the opportunity to choose the size and material of your choice. The following options are available for individualization:
- The canvas print: A printed canvas, not to be confused with a painting on a canvas, is an image printed on an industrial printing machine. It generates a exclusive impression of three-dimensionality. A canvas print of your favorite masterpiece will give you the unique chance to turn your into a large artwork as you would see in a gallery. How do I hang a canvas print on my wall? Canvas Prints have the advantage of being low in weight, which means that it is quite simple to hang the Canvas print without any wall-mounts. A canvas print is suitable for all kinds of walls.
- Metal print (aluminium dibond): Aluminium Dibond prints are metal prints with an outstanding depth effect - for a modern impression and a non-reflective surface structure. For the Aluminium Dibond print, we print the chosen work of art onto the aluminium composite white-primed surface. The bright and white parts of the original artwork shimmer with a silky gloss but without any glare.
- Printed poster (canvas material): The Artprinta poster print is a UV printed canvas paper with a fine surface structure, that reminds the actual masterpiece. It is designed for placing the art copy with the help of a special frame. Please note, that depending on the size of the poster we add a white margin of something between 2-6cm around the print in order to facilitate the framing with your custom frame.
- Printed acrylic glass (with real glass coating): An acrylic glass print, which is often described as a print on plexiglass, will convert your chosen original work of art into beautiful décor. In addition, the acrylic glass art print forms a good alternative option to dibond or canvas prints. With an acrylic glass art print contrasts as well as details will be more identifiable due to the subtle tonal gradation. The plexiglass with real glass coating protects your chosen art print against light and heat for between four and six decades.

Nonetheless, the pigments of the printing material and the imprint can vary slightly from the presentation on your monitor. Depending on your screen settings and the quality of the surface, color pigments can unfortunately not be printed one hundret percent realistically. Because our fine art prints are processed and printed by hand, there may as well be minor differences in the motif's size and exact position.
