Choose your product material

For every art print we offer a range of different sizes and materials. Pick your favorite material and size among the following choices:

  • Aluminium dibond print (metal): An Aluminium Dibond print is a material with an impressive depth. A direct Direct Print on Aluminum Dibond is the perfect start to fine prints manufactured on aluminum. The bright & white parts of the artpiece shine with a silk gloss, however without glare. The colors of the print are luminous in the highest definition, the fine details appear very clear.
  • Print on acrylic glass: A glossy acrylic glass print, which is often labelled as a UV print on plexiglass, will transform your favorite original work of art into home décor. Besides, it makes a good alternative option to dibond and canvas fine art prints. The work of art is being printed with the help of state-of-the-art UV direct print machines.
  • Printed poster (canvas material): The poster print is a UV printed sheet of cotton canvas paper with a granular structure on the surface, which resembles the actual artwork. It is particularly qualified for putting your fine art print using a special frame. Please keep in mind, that depending on the size of the poster print we add a white margin of around 2 - 6cm around the painting, which facilitates the framing with a custom frame.
  • Canvas: A canvas print is a printed cotton canvas mounted on a wooden stretcher. Also, a canvas produces a lively and warm effect. How can I hang a canvas print on the wall? Canvas Prints have the great advantage of being relatively low in weight, which means that it is easy and straightforward to hang your Canvas print without any wall-mounts. Hence, canvas prints are suitable for any type of wall.

Important note: We try everythig possible in order to describe our products as clearly as possible and to demonstrate them visually in our shop. Please keep in mind that the pigments of the printing material and the imprint might differ to a certain extent from the representation on the monitor. Depending on your screen settings and the nature of the surface, not all color pigments are printed as realistically as the digital version on this website. Since all our art prints are processed and printed by hand, there might as well be minor variations in the exact position and the size of the motif.

This painting is a full-size study for one of the figures in The Discoverer, a mural that William Morris Hunt painted on the vaulted roof of the Assembly Chamber at New York's state capitol in Albany. The mural showed Christopher Columbus standing boldly in a boat facing west. Winged Fortune stood behind him, her left hand holding the rudder as her right hand spread the sail. Hope sat in the bow, Science held a navigational chart, and Faith, covering her eyes, swam blindly ahead. The confidence of Columbus reflected the optimism of post-Civil War Americans; the country shifted from a rural to an industrial society, providing many new opportunities in business, railroads, and westward expansion.
