The Festival is an artpiece created by the male painter Sir John Edward Poynter. The 140 years old original of the painting was made with the size: 137,2 × 53,4 cm (54 × 21 in) and was produced with the medium oil on canvas. Inscribed lower left with monogram EJP and 1875 is the masterpiece's inscription. What is more, this artwork is part of the Art Institute Chicago's digital collection, which is one of the world’s great art museums, housing a collection that spans centuries and the globe. The modern art work of art, which belongs to the public domain is being included with courtesy of Art Institute Chicago. Furthermore, the artwork has the creditline: Bequest of Suzette Morton Davidson. On top of that, alignment is in portrait format and has a ratio of 2 : 5, which means that the length is 60% shorter than the width.
